A truly profound mirror-object of the young artist from Luxemburg, Sali Muller! In her oeuvre [nbsp]Muller questions our self-awareness and the role we assume in society. It plays with prejudices triggered by externalities.
In this work the viewer is confronted with his own reflection, which is subject to a definite restriction: only the face is reflected, the frame is given in the form of clothing. Suddenly we wear a headscarf, a turban or a mask. Through the altered exterior one finds oneself in a strange role again. This results in the viewer shifting persepective to an unknown person wearing his own face. Muller brings to mind how impressively the exterior influences our thoughts.
