Michael Goller draws like writing. The “scrolls”, as the artist himself calls his drawings, are standardized in height to come up to the physicality of writing: their size is consistent to Gollers ulna length, so that his arm is still able to rest on the desk while drawing.[nbsp]
In a preconscious process, the forms flow out of the pen onto the paper roll, right-handed as left-handed, from left to right, back and forth, in a kind of journeying they reach the sheet and organize themselves under the moderation of the artist. The ornament remains in the process of formation. Exclusively in the dialogue with the viewer an impression is created.[nbsp]
It took two months of work to create such a scroll, a slow process, which guarantees that years later the viewer will still find out news in the dialogue with the artwork about himself and the art of Michael Goller.
