Hanna Nitsch, born in Freiburg in 1974, studied philosophy and German language and literature, and later fine arts with Peter Dreher and Silvia Bächli in Karlsruhe and with Herrman Albert and Klaus Stümpel in Braunschweig. In 2003 she was accepted into the Cusanuswerk's scholarship programme for gifted students and in 2007 she completed her studies with a scholarship for master students. Hanna Nitsch lives and works in Braunschweig.
